Ukulele Size Guide

Published March 11, 2018 by I Blog

Hello!

Sorry that I’ve been pretty absent recently, but I’m working on a project that you’ll be finding out about soon, so stay tuned!

Today, I thought I’d go through ukulele sizes because I bought another ukulele (…oops)!

In the comments, why don’t y’all try and guess what size it is?

So, without further ado, let’s get into it!

What’s In My Uke Bag ~ Blogmas Day 13

Published December 14, 2017 by I Blog

Hey Guys!

Today I’ll be revealing what’s in my Uke bag. Let’s get into it.

So, this is my case.

When you open it, you will see a mahalo gig bag with my yellow U-Smile Uke inside it. I have the Mahalo bag because it acts as a kind of dust cover.

I also keep my chord book in here.

Now onto the pocket.

Firstly i have a notebook and some sheets with music and chords and stuff on it.

Next I have some spare strings.

And a clip on neck strap.

And some picks.

So, that’s it really. Would you like to see a what’s in my sax bag? Let me know in the comments below!

Published December 4, 2017 by I Blog

Today I’m teaching you the tab part for ukulele for Jingle Bells, so let’s get into it.

How to read tab:

Basically, I would recommend this Clip. https://youtu.be/vUp_2mIwM5Y

Basically, to read tab, the lines mean the string, so the top line is the 1st/ bottom / A string, the 2nd line is the E string, the 3rd line is the C string and the 4th line is the G string.

The numbers mean what fret you place your finger on. Eg, 2 means the 2nd fret. A 0 means no fingers.

You then only pluck the strings with the numbers, YOU DON’T STRUM!
