Oh My Gosh!
I’m in year 9!
So, I decided to do a what’s in my school bag, updated edition!
So, my bag:
Today isn’t one of my lighthearted posts. I’m sat here wondering if I should actually press publish.
Before you just ignore this post , just know that today, I’m not talking about all the injustices against women. Quite the opposite actually. I’m talking about inequality between females and males.
I’m writing this post because a blog is a place to share a message. A place where you can change the world. I know that I am a relatively small blog – there’s only 150 of us, but if only 1 person reads this post, then I will have made the world a slightly better place. And, if you agree with what I’m saying, maybe you’d like to reblogg?
So, Feminism. By definition it means the advocacy of women’s rights on the ground of the equality of the sexes. Today, I’m going to be focusing on the part that says ‘equality of the sexes’.
Now, firstly, let me tackle a common misconception ‘Feminism is all about women. It has fem as a prefix, so it’s for females’. No, just no. Think of it this way, mankind includes men and women, so feminism also includes men and women.
I don’t know if it’s just me that interprets feminism like this, but to me feminism is basically about equality- women can do anything that men can do, but also that men can do anything that women can do. Today I’m going to be talking about the fact that men can do anything that women can do.
The first thing that I’ve noticed is about kids and their toys. Many years ago, it was about how there were girl toys and boy toys. Now, it’s all good for girls to play with ‘boy’s toys’ like cars and diggers and superheroes. But the thing is, we haven’t evolved as a society for boys to be able to play with ‘girl’s toys’ like Barbies or dolls or princesses. I don’t think that’s particularly fair; do you?
The other thing that I’ve noticed is about makeup. Most girls and women are happily going around in their foundation, and mascara and concealer and all that jazz. However, not many boys and men can go around with makeup because society has told them that that’s a girl thing. However, when a guy is brave enough to wear makeup they get ridiculed and called names. Society puts pressure on us to look perfect. I have got acne, not bad but there are a lot of spots on my face. So, I wear makeup to make me feel more confident. There are loads of guys who get acne and want to cover it up but are worried about getting called names. This isn’t fair and should change.
Those are 2 of the main things that I’ve noticed about inequality. I could easily go on for longer, but then this post would go on forever. I could also talk about the how women haven’t got completely equal rights everywhere, but that’s a story for another day.
Do you agree with what I’m saying? Do you have any other opinions? Let me know in the comments below!

Hello, hello, hello!
If you saw my comment on Tabi’s post, then you probably knew that this post was coming!
I am going to Disneyland Paris, for the first time ever, on Monday with my mum, dad, auntie, uncle and cousin. I only found out about this trip yesterday, so it really is very spontaneous!
So, here’s what I’m taking!
So, today I am doing a huge haul from The Works, Superdrug, Waterstones, The Lego Shop, WHSmiths, Boots, Claire’s Accessories, Monsoon and some music shops. So, I went on a bit of a shopping spree! 😂😂😂
So, let’s get into it!
Let’s start with The Works!
So, firstly, I got some green slimes! I got one for me and one for my cousin. They were £3 each.
Then I got 3 magic crystal sets. Each were £3. One is for me, one is for my cousin and one is for my other cousin.
I aso also got some Tangfastics – yum!
Do you find yourself constantly running late for something? Do you want a quick fix? Well then, look no further then this post! (That sounds like an infomercial)
1. Wash your hair the night before.
This saves you soooooo much time in the morning! Especially if you have long hair! If you need to, you can always use dry shampoo! (I like the brand Batiste).
2. Prepare the night before.
Pack your handbag, school bag, stuff that you need for work, the night before. This saves you time and allows you to have a stress-free morning!
3. Lay out your clothes the night before!
Not especially helpful when you have a uniform, but still- it’s the thought that counts!
