How are you guys doing today? I hope you’re doing well!

So, without further ado, let’s get to discussing!

The Heroes of Olympus Series by Rick Riordan – The House of Hades and the Blood of Olympus

First things first – I finished my reread of the Heroes of Olympus series – Huzzah! I read the rest of them in September and had a really fun time rereading this series as it is truly one of my favourite series out there!

I really loved House of Hades and still think that it is one of the best in the series, and I really loved the Nico and Reyna POV chapters in Blood of Olympus. I’m going to do a full review with all of my thoughts soon, so stay tuned!

Hello demigods! And welcome back!

Today is the second part in my ‘Guide tor reading the Riordanverse companion novels’ series (you can view part one about the Demigod Files here 🙂 ) as well as day 14 of Blogoween! Today we are talking about the short story Percy Jackson and the Singer of Apollo! In this post I’ll be going over what this book is, when in the Riordanverse you should read it and I’ll also be giving you a mini review of the book!

Part One: What is it?

This book is a short story originally published as part of an anthology called Guys Read: For Other Worlds and was later published as its own original short story. It follows Percy and Grover, who initially get together to celebrate Grover’s birthday, but the god Apollo has other plans – one of his backup singers is missing somewhere in New York and likely causing havoc, and they have to get her back.
