Running Late Life Hacks

Do you find yourself constantly running late for something? Do you want a quick fix? Well then, look no further then this post! (That sounds like an infomercial)

 

1. Wash your hair the night before.

This saves you soooooo much time in the morning! Especially if you have long hair! If you need to, you can always use dry shampoo! (I like the brand Batiste).

 

2. Prepare the night before.

Pack your handbag, school bag, stuff that you need for work, the night before. This saves you time and allows you to have a stress-free morning!

 

3. Lay out your clothes the night before!

Not especially helpful when you have a uniform, but still- it’s the thought that counts!

 

4. Set like a bajillion alarms to wake you up in the morning.

This is great for me because I just turn my alarm off – I never hit snooze! So, I personally have 8 alarms every morning!

 

5. Turn the phone off

Well, firstly, finish reading this post. Then turn the phone off! It starts when you wake up and you’re like, oh, I’ll just check my school/work email for important documents, then, the next thing you know, it’s half an hour later and you’re using the bunny 🐰 filter on snapchat!

So, just turn the phone off. Check everything later

 

6. Do things in the same location together.

Eg. Do upstairs things first then downstairs things. This will prevent you running all over your house in a panic!

 

7. No time for makeup.

So, your skin looks really bad (although there is NO such thing as bad skin),  but you have no time to do your makeup. What do you do? Firstly, apply mascara to make your eyes look bigger and less tired.

Wear lipstick / lipgloss to take the attention away from your skin.

Finally, do your eyebrows. They’d shape your face and make it look like you end spent ages on your face when you’ve only taken 5 minutes!

 

8. M’kay, hair! I have 2 options for you!

a) Kayleigh Melissa! She is a goddess of hair! I am not joking! She has amazing styles which I have tried and tested numerous times! So go and check her out!

b) 5 Minute Hair. This is a book which I received from Friend Blogs at Christmas (cos she knows me so well)! Thanks for that babes! It’s  really saved me. You really can do most of the styles in less than 5 minutes, however there are a few more classy ones that take just a little bit longer!

 

9. If you aren’t driving, eat breakfast and do your hair in the car! Literally my life! This is when 5 Minute Hair comes in handy!

 

10. If all else fails,  rock the no makeup and bed-head look and say that you’re starting a trend!
