Today I will be talking about mug cakes and my favorite recipes.
Mug cakes are a new craze that have taken the world by sweetness. I recently bought a book which is brilliant and shows you how to make these cakes in detail. Mug cakes are so easy to make and leave little washing up to do later and also take no effort to measure out the ingredients.
here is my favorite recipe:
Brownie mug cake: you need,
2 tablespoons soft butter,
2 tablespoons caster sugar,
1 tablespoon light soft brown sugar,
1 tablespoon cocoa powder,
1 medium egg ,
1/2 a tablespoon vanilla extract,
4 tablespon self-raising flour,
2 tablespoon of chocolate chips.
Place your butter in the 350ml mug and put it in the microwave for 10-20 seconds (if its fresh out of the fridge i recommend you put it in for 30 seconds)
Add the caster sugar, brown sugar and cocoa powder into the mug and beat until thoroughly combined.
Add the egg and vanilla and beat together, then add the flour and beat again until thoroughly combined and smooth.
Cook in the microwave for 50 seconds @ 600W, 30 seconds @800W or 25 seconds @ 1000W.
Try to leave them for 15 minutes to get the perfect consistency.I found it tasted divine with vanilla ice-cream.
